Ion Brown

Ion Brown (they/them) is a 17-year-old poet, author, artist, and all-around creative from Oregon who firmly believes in trying everything at least once. They are the founder and Editor-In-Chief of Tangerine Literary, and work with a plethora of other magazines. They overuse parentheses, (everything comes with a bonus thought, you know?) and can usually be found in an oversized sweater with a tangerine in one pocket and too many ideas in the other.

Poetry Reader

Maia Mohsen

Maia Mohsen is a writer and occasionally an artist from Long Island, New York. Her writing has been recognized by the Walt Whitman Birthplace, 1455 Books, and the Moonstone Arts Center, amongst other places. She loves detailed things, thoughts that reflect the abstract, something that she hopes to convey through her poetry and prose. Thus, she has made it her goal to ponder over liminal spaces, the aftermath of time, war, and desolation. She has used such themes to help her find her literary voice. In her free time, she can often be found devouring her latest stack of books or having a staring contest with her plants, depending on the season.

Prose Reader

Ayesha Zeb

Ayesha Zeb is a Pakistani writer and prose editor based in Saudi Arabia. A student of English Linguistics, she works in both English and Urdu, editing for independent literary spaces and publishing her own writing on Substack. Her work has appeared in literary magazines, where she explores the delicate fractures of human emotion. She holds a profound reverence for language: she believes words are powerful enough to make someone's day or change someone entirely. As a prose editor, this conviction guides her every read. She approaches each submission with the care of ensuring that strong, truthful stories find their rightful audience. She is currently refining her own drafts, driven by a quiet ambition to build something lasting from scratch and leave a legacy in every language she touches.

Prose Reader

Aashi Shinde

Aashi Shinde is a junior in highschool living in the Bay Area, California. Her work has been published in the Siliconeer, a local Gen Z South Asian magazine, and Polyphony Literary's Queer Anthology Contest. When she isn't writing, you can find her drawing, reading, or trying to make sense of herself and the world around her.
